Dr Ulf Erlandsson manages liquid credit at the Fourth Swedish State Pension Fund (AP4), returning to the Fund in 2026 after previously having managed SSA and credit portfolios there between 2009-2017. He is the founder of Anthropocene Fixed Income Institute (AFII), and started his career as a quantitative strategist at Barclays Capital. He was awarded Environmental Finance's Bond Personality of the Year 2022 as well as CFA Sweden's ESG Prize 2021. Erlandsson earned his Ph.D. in economics from Lund University and is the author of books such as “Sustainability Linked Bonds: A practitioners guide”, “Systematic CDS index trading” and “Empirical analysis of the credit cycle” and prize-winning papers such as “Transition linkers” and “Credit alpha and CO2 reduction.”
