Tom is the Chief Funding Officer for the Government of the Emirate of Sharjah. Having led Sharjah’s Debt Management Office since 2011, Tom has extensive experience of financial markets and the public policy environment. Sharjah has been a market innovator, with transactions spanning multiple currencies, Islamic and conventional formats, and the Gulf region’s first sovereign sustainable bond issuances. Before moving to Sharjah, Tom held roles in PwC’s government advisory practice and HM Treasury in London.
