Christa Clapp co-founded Shades of Green, a global leader in green bond reviews, which was acquired by S&P Global. At S&P Global Ratings, she leads the sustainable finance strategy and is a leading market voice on green and sustainable bonds.

She was previously the Research Director for Climate Finance at CICERO climate research institute and has over 25 years of experience in climate policy and economic analysis, holding previous positions at the OECD and the US EPA, where she received a National Honor Award Gold Medal. She was a Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 6th assessment report on mitigation for the finance and investment chapter and currently sits on the Editorial Board for the Climate Policy Journal. She also sits on the board of BlueMark impact verification company.
