Carla Díaz is the Director General of the Treasury and Financial Policy at the Spanish
Ministry for Economy, Trade and Business. She is responsible for the Treasury’s
competences regarding financial regulation, including sustainable and digital
finance, funding and treasury management and the prevention of money laundering.
From January 2021 to February 2024 she was Director of Resolution at FROB.
Before, Carla was the Deputy Director General for EU Economic and Financial
Affairs in the Spanish Ministry for Economic Affairs (2015-2021).
