Ashwin Joshi, CFA, is Head of Sustainability for Global Fixed Income at BlackRock. He leads a team of specialists responsible for sustainability research and engagement, developing proprietary frameworks for sustainable fixed-income portfolios, and managing green, social, and sustainability (GSS) bond mandates and net-zero-aligned strategies tailored to client objectives. He also teaches a graduate-level Sustainable Finance course at Université Paris-Dauphine. Ashwin holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics, with a minor in Computer Science, from Vanderbilt University. He is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal.
