Appointed Head of Debt Management in 2025, Anu Sammallahti  has led the State Treasury’s funding unit since 2010 and joined  the State Treasury in 2001 after roles in consulting and fixed  income trading. Since 2018, she has served on the Board of the  National Nuclear Waste Management Fund and was Vice-Chair  of the State Pension Fund from 2018 to 2024. She holds an MSc in  Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics (Aalto  University).
